PROPOSED WASTE TYRE MANAGEMENT REGULATIONSMacRobert wishes to draw your attention to the following important notice
The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of sections 69(1)(b), (e), and (ee) of the NEM:WA, given notice of the proposed Waste Tyre Regulations. The proposed Regulations list certain prohibited acts in respect of waste tyres and the requirements for registration with the Bureau. It furthermore lists the specific duties of tyre dealers and their responsibilities to reuse, recycle or recover waste tyres. Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 30 days of the publication of this Notice (i.e. on or before 18 September 2017).
